Abel Perez was born in Mexico and moved to the United States at a young age, growing up and living the American Dream in Carrollton, Georgia. After graduating from Carrollton High School, he took on a challenging career in the North Dakota oil fields, working in the tundra for over six years while servicing oil wells. His office was often 40 feet in the air, giving him a comfort with heights that would later serve him well in the roofing industry. After a successful career in the oil field, Abel decided it was time to build something of his own. Teaming up with his brother, Homero Perez, who had just graduated college, they launched Mustang Roofing with a vision to bring trust, quality, and efficiency to the roofing industry. Abel’s experience working for large companies that operated year-round under demanding conditions helped him develop strong management skills and the ability to make efficient business decisions, which he now applies daily to the company he leads. Abel is known for his hard work, his passion for the trade, and his commitment to working side by side with his team. His forward-thinking approach helps solve problems before they arise, saving homeowners and the company time, stress, and money while ensuring every project is completed with the highest standards. Today, Abel and Homero run Mustang Roofing as a small, friendly company where employees and customers alike become part of the Mustang family.
